Description
DOL Wage rates for all other US DOL Wage rates for SC, GA and Florida SPECS on 87' and 154' cutters, SOW Sources sought for contractors who can perform the following Dive services for Coast Guard Cutters located in South Carolina, Florida and Puerto Rico. Dive services to include the following work items for 87' and 154' cutters (see attached SOW for details) Work Item #1 Running Gear (U/W Body) Diver's Cleaning 1. SCOPE 1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to clean the vessel's Running Gear, while the vessel is moored pier side. Affected surfaces or components include, but are not limited to the following: • Transducer(s). • Propellers. • Rudders. • Shafts. • Sea chest(s) and strainer(s). • Stabilizing fins. • Miscellaneous appendages (examples: bilge keels, rope guards, fairwaters, fins, etc). • Hull and sea chest zinc anodes. • Bow thruster. Work Item #2: Hull Plating (U/W Body) Diver's Cleaning 1. SCOPE 1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to clean the vessel's U/W body, while the vessel is moored pier side. Affected surfaces or components include, but are not limited to the following: • U/W hull plating. • U/W body coating system. • Transducer(s). • Sea chest(s) and strainer(s). • Stabilizing fins. • Miscellaneous appendages (examples: bilge keels, rope guards, fairwaters, fins, etc). • Hull and sea chest zinc anodes. • Bow thruster. Work Item #3 Hull Plating (U/W Body) Diver's Inspection 1. SCOPE 1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to conduct inspection of the vessel's U/W body, while the vessel is moored pier side. Affected surfaces or components include, but are not limited to the following, as applicable: • U/W hull plating. • U/W body coating system. • Transducer(s). • Propellers. • Rudders. • Shafts. • Sea chest(s) and strainer(s). • Stabilizing fins. • Miscellaneous appendages (examples: bilge keels, rope guards, fairwaters, fins, etc). • Hull and sea chest zinc anodes. • Bow thruster. Coast Guard anticipates posting solicitation in FBO OOA 16 November 2016 for Diver Services.
