- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Small Business Program Office will be hosting its monthly Vendor Café Outreach Session. This session is reserved for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses in honor of Veterans Day!! But we welcome all small businesses to register! Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 9:00am - 12:00pm NIH Neuroscience Building 6001 Executive Blvd. Conference Rooms C Bethesda, Maryland 20852 Our featured contract office for this month is the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The NICHD mission is to ensure that every person is born healthy and wanted, that women suffer no harmful effects from reproductive processes, and that all children have the chance to achieve their full potential for healthy and productive lives. The institute also aims to ensure the health, productivity, independence, and well-being of people through optimal rehabilitation.. Please visit https://www.nichd.nih.gov for additional information about NICHD. Vendors will also be given an overview of the NIH acquisition process, meet with representatives from the NIH Purchase Card Program, Blanket Purchase Agreement office and NITAAC. This event is FREE! Space is Limited Each company is limited to ONE attendee Paid parking is available and White Flint Metro Station is nearby.
