SPECIAL NOTICE: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. This is a Special Notice that includes an invitation to Industry for the Army Annual Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Summit. This Special Notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Special Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. DRAFT: Notification of open invite to Industry for the Army Annual Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Summit. Solicitation Number: C-UAS-Summit-Fort-Sill. Notice Type: Notice to Industry. SYNOPSIS: Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), TRADOC Capabilities Manager (TCM), Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) extends open invitation for Industry to attend fourth annual Army C-UAS Summit December 8-9, 2016. PURPOSE: This event is intended to present attending Industry representatives a broad overview of the recent Public Release of the Army C-UAS Strategy Extract, Industry Opportunities within C-UAS Experiments / Demonstrations and provide the opportunity for a limited quantity of individual Industry Engagements with COL Douglas White (TCM ADA BDE) the afternoon of December 8, and day of December 9, 2016. PARTICIPATION: Open to Industry interested in learning more about the Army C-UAS Strategy and potential Opportunities within Experiments and Demonstrations. Participants will not be compensated for their participation in this event. This is not a solicitation for comments or question from industry. No responses or comments will be accepted by the Government. The US Government will not reimburse industry or other entities for any effort taken in response to any information provided at this event. LOCATION/DATE: The annual Army C-UAS Summit will be held at Reimer Conference Center, Snow Hall, Fort Sill, Oklahoma 73503 on December 6-8, 2016. The DoD / Military / Civilian only portion will be December 6-7, 2016 while the Industry portion with the option for individual Industry Engagements will be held December 8-9, 2016. Official Agenda will be provided at a later date. Proposed Industry attendees are required to provide the following information for each attendee No Later than (NLT) 1200 CST November 23, 2016: Name: Company Name: Position title: Mailing address: Working Cell phone number: Email Address: The information provided above will not be shared at the summit and will only be provided to the Fort Sill Security office for access purposes. SECURITY CLEARANCE/ACCESS: All attendees must be entered and approved through JPAS prior to the event. Resources will not be able to accommodate last minute additions to the SCAR roster. VISITOR ACCESS PROCEDURES TO FORT SILL: Effective 9 February 2015, personnel requiring access to the installation shall possess a Common Access Card (CAC), Long Term Unescorted Access Pass or Military ID, or Individual temporary pass issued by the Fort Sill Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) pursuant to Army Directive 2014-05, Policy and Implementation Procedures for Common Access Card Credentialing and Installation Access for Un-cleared Contractors. Additional information on visitor access procedures can be obtained at http://sill-www.army.mil/vcc/. Directions to the Visitor Control Center: From Interstate 44, take the exit for Rogers Lane West. Go approximately 2 miles to the Sheridan Road North exit. Go north on Sheridan Road and follow the signs to the Visitor Control Center (on the right side of the road).
