- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Solicitation to construct and install a canoe launch within Everglades National Park (Gulf Coast District), 815 Oyster Bar Lane, Everglades City, Florida 34139 on or about Nov 08, 2016. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P17PS00095. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237990. The small business standard is $36.5M. The cost range is between $0.00 and $100,000.00. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on Monday, Nov 21, 2016 at 10:30am (ET) in Everglades City, FL 34139. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on Monday, Nov 28, 2016 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded IAW FAR 16.202 towards the middle of Dec 2016. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Collier County, FL will apply. The Government will award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about Tuesday, Nov 08, 2016. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No phone calls please.
