Description

Justification The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Open Software Technologies Inc., located 990 Douglas Ave STE 102, Altamonte Springs, FL, 32714-2093. For software and maintenance under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available..." Rexxtools/MVS proprietary software and maintenance are only available from Open Software Technologies Inc., who is the sole source provider of the required software maintenance. Open Software Technologies Inc., has access to the source code necessary to provide the required maintenance subscription composed of version upgrades and updates, bugs fixes and patches order for Open Software Technologies Inc., Rexxtools/MVS software maintenance for the period of 12 months. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED JUSTIFICATION
