- Description
- This is a Sources Sought Announcement (SSA). This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This SSA does not serve to bind the U.S. Government in any way. Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for costs associated with preparation of their responses. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is conducting a Sources Sought Market Survey in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential firms that have the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities required to perform the following potential requirements: Contingency non-system specific Information and Technology Services and Support (ITSS) for HQ, ASC 401st Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) contingency operations located in Kuwait, Qatar, and Afghanistan. Services include, but are not limited to: Desktop Support (Secret Internet Protocol Router and Non-classified Internet Protocol Router), limited systems administration installation and maintenance of hardware and software, technical recommendations for proposed acquisition of computers, Information Technology (IT) help desk support tasks, semi-fixed inside plant and outside plant services, World Wide Web, SharePoint, and system administrator support. Potential firms should be advised that performance would consist of a period of six-months of service from 01 March 2017 through 31 August 2017. Three (3) one-month option periods from 01 September 2017 through 30 November 2017 would be included in any resultant contract. Based on the extremely short milestones associated with the lead-time required to draft, solicit, evaluate and award any resultant contract that may transpire, no transition time would be allotted for a winning firm. Performance would be expected to occur at time of award in all OCONUS locations. Firms are encouraged to notify the U.S. Government (USG) of their interest in the above requirement by supplying a capability statement sufficient enough in detail for the USG to determine the firm's potential for successful performance of the requirement as stated in the Market Research Survey. This Sources Sought Announcement serves as Market Research only, not a firm commitment on the part of the U.S. Government nor does it constitute an order. Responses shall be submitted by email only no later than 0800 (8:00 am) U.S. Central Standard Time (CST) on Wednesday, 09 November 2016 to the following: Brandon K.
