Supp. Description: STEEL, COPPER, IRON AND STAINLESS STEEL. Delivery: 15 SEP 2017 On or Before Requirement: One year Commercial Item: No Surplus Authorized: YES NEW UNUSED GOVERNMENT OR COMMERCIAL Currently GENERAL ELECTRIC is the only approved source. Non-approved sources wishing to submit a bid may do so, however, only qualified sources will be considered for award. First Articles may be required from newly approved sources. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.Note:While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation.
