- Description
- Army Contracting Command-Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for a quantity of 75 of each Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Retrofit Kit (300 retrofit kits total) for the M160 Light Flail Robotic system, commercially known as the MV-4. ACC-WRN will be issuing a sole source letter Request for Proposal (RFP) for the effort solicited under W56HZV-17-R-0039. The objective of this effort is to acquire ancillary hardware to accomplish engineering support needed for the MV-4 prior to reset. This action will be awarded as a firm fixed price (FFP), sole source contract to DOK-ing d.o.o. of Zagreb, Croatia, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Specifically, FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), provides supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that an award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered though competition, or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements... A solicitation will issued on or around 22 November 2016 and will close on or around 22 December 2016.
