- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition and Relocation Management (FA), intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to American Association of Poison Control for the purchase data of kratom, DMT and ayahuasca. AAPCC's data are coded by many specific variables, including demographics, route of administration, reason for exposure, acute or chronic use, management site, clinical outcome, therapeutic intervention, and medical outcome. The specific data collected from AAPCC will be of assistance to DEA in evaluating the actual abuse of these compounds. These data are necessarry in order to evaluate the possible scheduling action for these specific compounds under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). The required delivery date is November 21, 2016. THIS SYNOPSIS IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS. Per FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. In accordance with FAR 6.305, 14 days after contract award, DEA will make publicly available the Limited Source Documentation.
