Description

1. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit offers for courier services for the VA Boise Healthcare System in Boise, ID. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quote number is VA260-17-Q-0034. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 492210 Courier Services, and the small business size standard is 1500 Employees. This procurement is set-aside for SDVOSB. 3. The intended total contract period of performance is the date of award (12-01-2016) through 11-30-2021. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 11-07-2016, and the anticipated closing date is 11-17-2016. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered.
