Description
The following questions and answers have been provided to offer clarification for this Solicitation. 1. What is the period of performance for the contract? a. 12 months from date of contract award. 2. The anticipated 100 terabytes of data does not appear aligned with the available 8-core hardware processor described in RFQ Section 3.1.1. Please clarify whether one 8-core server is the only hardware that will be provisioned to perform the ETL workflows? a. That is correct 3. Which network(s) are expected to host the ETL tool? a. The ETL tool will be hosted on one of the database servers in the DEV or Staging environment 4. Will vendors be given any necessary badges, network access, and data access in order to install and implement the software? a. Yes, if necessary. 5. How many total users does the VA expect to access the tool? a. Minimum two (2) users 6. Who (i.e., what role) are the anticipated end users for the ETL tool? a. Data analysts working on the effort 7. Does the Army want the vendor to provide training on the ETL tool? a. No, training is not included in this requirement. 8. What is the goal of the ErWin compatibility? a. The ErWin tool has been selected for data modeling 9. Is it sufficient if the proposed ETL tool includes an embedded capability that surpasses the stand-alone abilities of ErWin? a. ErWin has been selected as the data modeling tool. The capabilities of the ETL tool for data modeling are not a part of this requirement.
