Request for Information Number: VA248-17-N-0072 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: November 7, 2016 PREFACE: This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a request for quotes or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The singular purpose of this notice is to obtain information on Small Businesses interest, capabilities and qualifications to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Offers are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The information obtained through this notice will be utilized exclusively as market research for acquisition planning purposes for the future solicitation of a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. BACKGROUND: The Orlando VA Medical Center (Lake Nona Campus) is conducting market research and seeking information from Small Business interested vendors regarding the availability to provide full service support contract on the Siemens Artis Zeego hybrid Operating Room and its support equipment. This contract will cover all parts and labor associated with maintaining a 97% uptime on the equipment. The vendor will perform preventive maintenance and upgrade the software for the performance period of this contract. Perform phone support to the biomedical department when needed on issues software related. Respond to calls when the system is down and in need of repair. Work directly with the biomed department located at the VA facility to develop a team to reduce down time. This full service contract will cover the work station and the UPS. **REQUESTED INFORMATION: All questions listed below must be answered completely and submitted with your information.
