- UPDATED SOLICITATION *********************************************** THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION: PROVISION 52.212-3 HAS BEEN REMOVED. THERE ARE NO ANY OTHER CHANGES TO SOLICITATION OR ATTACHMENTS. *********************************************** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separate from this announcement. Solicitation number DE-SOL-0010594 is issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-90. A single contractor will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a competitive 100% Small Business set-aside. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335999. The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, requires assorted personal ground cables for linemen on a fields. All clamps/Crimps/ must be attached to cables, tested and date stamped. Spec, spreadsheet with bid schedule, and sample pictures are attached. Offeror must be registered in the SAM database. If the offeror is not registered in this database, it may do so through the SAM website at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. All quotes must be valid for 60 days. Only quotes containing all items listed in the solicitation will be considered for award. No partial quotes will be accepted. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Written offers and the above required information are due no later than Monday, November 21, 2016 by 14:30 PM Pacific Time to Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, P.O.
