- Synopsis J&A for Compressors The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a Limited Sources order for "Carrier air compressors" for DoDEA-DDESS Antilles Middle School. This is a Limited Sources Action: The sole manufacturer for this item is Carrier. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, supplies are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No substitution of these supplies can be accepted. This is a commercial product that will be acquired under FAR Part 13 procedures. A determination by the Government not to fully compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The contract type for this requirement will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). This action incorporates clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation as of this date. The Department of Defense Domestic Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) is a federal government agency, an education activity, tax exempt, and qualified for academic/educational pricing. FSC Code: 4120 NAICS Code: 333912. Anticipated award date is no later than 11 November 2017.
