This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest in seeking: Small Businesses (SB); VA certified Service Disabled Veteran owned Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) small business concerns. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Your responses will be due by Monday, November 14, 2016, 4:00PM (EST) to the point of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, and the Durham Veteran Affair Medical Center located: 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina anticipates the service for Wound Care Specialty VAC Rental. Scope of work - The Durham VA s Wound Care Management System requires wound care therapy to promote wound healing by secondary or tertiary intention by preparing the wound VAC for closure at the wound site and would remove infectious materials and actively promote granulation at the cellular level. This requirement is targeted for patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and dehisced wounds, partial thickness burns, ulcers (such as diabetic or pressure), flaps and grafts. VAC equipment to be serviced is as follows: ACTI V.A.C. Therapy Unit, 340000.P INFO V.A.C. Wound Therapy Unit M8259999 Place of Performance - all work shall be completed at: DURHAM VAMC 508 Fulton Street Durham, NC 27705-3897 The appropriate NAICS Code 339113 and the small business size standard are 750. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
