Description

SECTION A - CONTRACT REQUIREMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Amarillo VA Health Care System requires Bulk Liquid Oxygen. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005_91, effective 09/30/2016. The solicitation number is VA257-17-Q-0027, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is set-aside 100% for SDVOSB in accordance with FAR 19. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 325120, Gases: Compressed and Liquefied, with a small business size standard of 1000 Employees. The period of performance will consist of one (1) Base Year, and up to four (4) Option Years, from 12/01/2016. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not to be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order, in accordance with FAR 13, and subject to the provisions and clauses listed in the formal VA solicitation format as follows. Please refer to those pages for specifications and points of contact. Solicitation issued as a total SDVOSB set-a-side. All SDVSOB contractors participating in the Veterans First Contracting Program must be listed as verified in the VIP database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov to receive contract awards under the Veterans First Contracting Program.
