- Statement of Work (Draft) Mutifarious Test Press (REQUEST FOR INFORMATION) This IS NOT a request for bids, quotes, or proposal. This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified sources. Interested parties of any size may submit a response to this notice. Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is seeking information on a Multifarious Test Press (MTP). The Contractor shall deliver, install, and set-up, one (1) MTP that has the capability, functionality and performance characteristics specified in the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). In addition, upon delivery, installation, and set-up of the MTP, the Contractor shall provide training and start-up assistance to BEP personnel located at the Washington, DC Currency Facility (DCF). Please see the DRAFT Statement of Work for more details. INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1. Vendors are requested to provide brochures, literature, information, or onsite presentation on their equipment capabilities, including: • A description of the press functions, capabilities, specifications, features, warranties, and available options. • Typical delivery time frame • Rough-Order-Magnitude (ROM) Cost estimate (for budgetary purposes only) • Equipment place of manufacture/origin • Are there any areas of the draft Statement of Work that is unclear or ambiguous? • If this were a Request for Proposal, would you take exception to any areas of the draft Statement of Work • User(s) location and representative that the BEP could contact to witness the vendor's equipment in operation and have discussions on the equipment (Multiple users would be appreciated) 2. Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), email address, ALL applicable NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large), company's socioeconomics (i.e., woman- owned, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.) and DUNS Number. Responses shall be emailed to gladys.wilks@bep.gov and howard.england@bep.gov. Telephone responses will NOT be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 22 November 2016, 5:00p.m. (EST). AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. (DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION). A FUTURE NOTICE MAY BE POSTED IF A SOLICITATION IS RELEASED.
