Description
The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions from industry: Q2: Does this battery backup system need to be a ruggedized type installation? A2: No, the battery backup system does not need to be "ruggedized". Q3: What is the voltage in/out? A3: 120V or 240V input, 120V output. Q4:What is the connection type in/out? A4: We can support any standard NEMA 5 or NEMA 6 connections. Q5: Do you want rack mount or tower type? A5: Either rack mounted or free standing equipment is acceptable, but rack mounted solutions must also include the rack. Q6: Is it possible to do a site visit to help determine correct requirements? A6: No, not at this time. Q7: Does the Government require 1 hour of runtime at 100W, 450W, and 500W or does the Government expect some of these areas to be able to have battery runtime for 24hrs? A7:As per the Statement of Work, section 4.1.1, there are ten locations, and each location must have the appropriate amount of battery backup to meet the wattage and duration requirements listed in the table. Q8: What is the make, model, and kVA and battery configuration of the systems that are to be removed? A8: Systems to be removed/disposed of include mostly APC SUA750XL and SUA2200XL head units (or similar), and APC UXBP24 or SUA48XLBP additional battery packs (or similar). Q9: What is the wall outlet in each location a UPS is to be installed? A9: We can support any standard NEMA 5 or NEMA 6 connections. Q10: Can an L5-30 plug be used in the locations of 450W or greater? A10: We can support any standard NEMA 5 or NEMA 6 connections. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
