- Description
- The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) seeks other than full and open competition and intend to award a sole source contract to the incumbent contractor: Raytheon Foreground Security, Inc., 801 International Parkway, 5th Floor, Lake Mary, FL, 32746. RFS will be required to continue providing the following ongoing professional services: Security Engineering Support from November 1, 2016 -September 30, 2017. The statutory authority permitting the sole sourcing of services is MMAR 6.302-1, 41 U.S.C. 5(3), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responses shall be sent to Spencer Morgan at smorgan@gpo.gov on or before October 28, 2016 no later than 9:00 AM, EST.
