Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA250-17-Q-0061 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 339112and small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The requirement is for G-180 CE OPTI VAC SUCTION MACHINES. Delivery location is the LOUIS STOKES VA MEDICAL CENTER, Cleveland OHIO and shall be FOB destination. Delivery is required within 30 days of contract award. Please see the salient characteristics below Network Contracting Office (NCO) Columbus, OH requires the following items, brand name or equal in accordance with FAR Clause: 52.211-6 and VAAR Clause 852.211-73. Salient Characteristics The vendor will supply 70 portable AC suction machines with: Built-in battery charger with internal rechargeable battery back-up that provide a minimum of 45 minutes +/- 10% of suctioning time when fully charged. Dual mode operation will operate on A/C line power when plugged-in. Suction pump is capable of delivering up to 500 or greater mmHg negative pressure and 50 lpm of flow at the pump head. Will accommodate generic hospital grade disposable canister of at least 1000 milliliters and use disposable tubing Fully adjustable vacuum regulation with gauge that is capable of providing a clinical flow rate of greater than 30 lpm at the patient end of the suction tubing for rapid removal of fluid from patient airway during emergency use. Battery charge indicator which displays to the user a progressive level of charge available during emergency use. Protection from battery overcharging Is lightweight, built-in handle to pick-up and will fit on the shelf of the emergency carts without modification. The shelf is 18 x16 which means the suction pump with canister cannot be longer than the shelf or it will not fit on the cart.
