Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Puerto Rico Regional Office, Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment Service (VR&E), is posting this notice. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to complete residential home modification consistent with meeting the independent living needs of a disabled veteran. The intent of this project is to improve the Veteran s living conditions. This project is intended to provide a fully accessible and functioning kitchen, the addition of a room with bathroom for the caretaker and an accessible desk space for the functioning of the home office. This work may include a new electrical service panel and the reinstallation of a water pump for drinking water. The Government s estimated construction time for the project is 180 days after the notice to proceed is issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236118, and the small business size standard is $33.5M. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. Any interested and qualified sources must be registered/certified/verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to win award.
