- 1MHZ & 2MHZ Sideways Looking Profilers: This sources sought notice is for informational purposes only and shall not be considered a solicitation, obligation, or commitment by the Government. This notice is for market research. The requirement is for two each (2 EA) 1MHz Horizontal Doppler Profilers and one each (1 EA) 2MHZ Horizontal Doppler Profilers with delivery to Flagstaff, AZ 89001. At a minimum each profiler must come equipped with two horizontal acoustic beams with 50 or more measurement cells, internal 0-10m pressure sensor, internal tilt sensor, internal compass, PUV (Wave pressure and the two horizontal and axial components of the wave orbital velocity, U and V.) Wave burst collection capability, and a noise filter to reduce night-time noise levels. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potential sources. The NAICS is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing 500 Employees. This is not a request for quotation or a solicitation for offers. Interested parties will submit an email detailing their capabilities and experience with these supplies. Sufficient information must be provided to demonstrate the ability to complete the services. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. Responses will be used for market research only. Responses are due no later than 11/14/2016 1300 EDT.
