THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest in seeking: Small Businesses (SB); VA certified Service Disabled Veteran owned Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) small business concerns; and vendors who hold GSA/FSS schedules. No solicitation is being issued at this time. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The West Haven VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC), 950 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516 has a requirement for Standpipe Testing. Be advised this is a 1 time 5 year inspection. I have attached a draft Scope of Work. This requirement is needed in the near future before the grounds start to freeze. The appropriate NAICS Code 238220 Email statements of capabilities to corey.labbe@va.gov outlining your company's capability and provide the business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code and also ensure your firm is registered under the appropriate NAICS code in www.vetbiz.gov if responding under an Service Disabled Veteran Owned/Veteran Owned Small Business status. Your responses must be submitted by 10:00 am (EST) on Friday November 11, 2016. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought notice are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements.
