Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334513 (Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables) and whether or not these items requested are offered on a federal supply schedule. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking sources to provide an automatic sample-handling system to produce bacterial counts with membrane filtration accuracy for total coliforms, E. coli and enterococci. This equipment must be compatible with Quanti-Tray / 2000 Comparator. The Quanti-Tray Sealer must meet the following salient characteristics: a. Must be Commercial Grade b. Must be CEE Tier II and Energy Star Qualified c. Must be electric d. Stackable due to space constraints e. Stainless Steel Wash Basket f. Microprocessor controls g. One-Touch Cycle Selection h. Front Serviceable i. Reversible Door on Dryer j. Minimum Capacity: Washer 3.2 cf to 4 cf / Dryer 6 cf to 8 cf k. Overall height not to exceed 74 l. Overall width not to exceed 27 m. Overall depth not to exceed 29.5 Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for consideration. The applicable North American Classification System Code 334513 (Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables) for this requirement with the small business size standard of 750 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Antanette.Shellaugh@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 1:00 pm Central Standard Time on November 15, 2016.
