Early, Contract Specialist, joseph.early2@va.gov This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, pursuant to FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY SOLICITATION; proposals/quotes are being requested and a SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation, number VA244-17-Q-0138, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL SOLICITATION and issued as a SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL-BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 339114 and the business size standard is 750. The items shall meet or exceed the salient characteristics identified below. All items must be new. Used or remanufactured equipment will not be considered for award. Experimental, prototype, or custom items will not be considered. The use of gray market components not authorized for sale in the U.S. by the proposer is not acceptable. Lack of registration in the SAM (System of Award Management) database will make an offeror INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your quote.
