- This is a modification against combined synopsis/solicitation number W91260-17-T-0001. The purpose of this modification is to upload an attachment and make changes to the subject combined synopsis/solicitation as described below. CLIN 0001 is hereby changed to read as follows: CLIN 0001 - Annual EMC hardware and software maintenance/support renewal, as listed and described in item numbers 1 - 104 of the attached requirements document; for U.S. Army SMDC/ARTSTRAT G6, Redstone Arsenal, AL. EMC Premier Support and Parts Retention Service descriptions for the EMC hardware and software items listed and described in the attached requirements document are provided in the attached Support Services Descriptions document dated 4 Nov 2016. QTY: 1 LOT. The due date and time for receipt of quotes or proposals is hereby extended to 2:00 PM (Mountain Time) on 10 November 2016 as the results of this modification. The purpose of this modification is to upload an attachment (revised requirements document dated 10 November 2016) and make changes to the subject combined synopsis/solicitation as described below. The following statements are included as part of the subject solicitation: The following specifications are issued as Brand Name or equal specifications and CLIN 0001 is hereby changed to read as shown below. With that, the term “or equal” is not added to each item/component description, but is instead stated here and applied to all items and components discussed hereafter. CLIN 0001 - Annual EMC hardware and software maintenance/support renewal, as listed and described in item numbers 1 - 104 of the attached revised requirements document dated 10 November 2016; for U.S. Army SMDC/ARTSTRAT G6, Redstone Arsenal, AL. EMC Premier Support and Parts Retention Service descriptions for the EMC hardware and software items listed and described in the attached revised requirements document dated 10 November 2016 are provided in the attached Support Services Descriptions document dated 4 Nov 2016. QTY: 1 LOT. The following changes were the only changes made to the requirements document: 1. Added the date the requirements document was revised in line 1. 2. Revised the description/statement of need in line 2. 3. Revised all support coverage descriptions in column "F" for item numbers 1 - 104. The following statements are also included as part of the subject solicitation: Catalog cutsheets, descriptive literature, and other information required to substantiate the offeror’s claims, such as maintenance and/or support plan details and parts retention service plan details, shall be provided with the offeror’s quote if offeror's quote or proposal is based on providing alternative brand or third-party hardware and software maintenance and/or support plans and parts retention service plans as "equal" or "equivalent" support products, services, or items. The most current version of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal is incorporated into and made part of the subject solicitation. The due date and time for receipt of quotes or proposals is hereby extended to 4:30 PM (Mountain Time) on 15 November 2016 as the results of this modification.
