- SCOPE OF SURVEY for Dredge Goetz The survey shall concentrate on the vessel's condition, safety equipment and the safety of crew onboard. At a minimum 8-10 ultrasonic measurements shall be taken with particular attention to locations where hull plate deterioration was expected to be most advanced. If paint is removed to conduct ultrasonic testing the contractor shall reapply coating to required specifications. The survey is shall be conducted while the Dredge is in a working mode, per the US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirement's manual, EM385-1-1. Within two weeks of completion of the inspection the Marine surveyor shall have the completed report to the Government Representative for evaluation. At a minimum the report shall include a narrative of the inspection, a map of ultrasonic test locations, photographs of areas inspected and a recommended course of action for deficiencies Scope of Survey for Quarters Barge Taggatz The survey shall concentrate on the vessel's condition, safety equipment and the safety of crew onboard.
