The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Small Businesses, including 8(a), Hub Zone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339114.The Department of Veteran's Affairs is seeking small business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to all the following: This request is for the purchase of 1 Zeiss Matrix 800 with printer and chin rest Salient Characteristics 1)Visual Field threshold testing of the center and periphery using frequency doubling technology to provide the lowest retest variability for testing traumatic brain injury patients 2) Test time less than 5 minutes per eye 3) Test locations the same as standard automated perimeters so that the results can be compared to other tests in the same patient 4) No eyeglass correction needed for testing, unlike other non-frequency doubling perimeters 5) Data results must be provided in electronic tabular form for exporting to a spreadsheet.
