Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, Virginia will be soliciting offers for San-I-Pak Sterilizer Preventative Maintenance Services. The contractor shall provide services for the San-I-Pak Sterilizer Unit for preventative maintenance to ensure the proper function of the infectious waste treatment system. A Preventative Maintenance plan (PM) will be determined that identifies tasks to be performed, and the resources, facilities, tools, and materials needed to maintain the proper function and manufacturer s specifications of the San-I-Pak Sterilizer Unit. A request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-0110 will be issued on or about November 10, 2016. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is Contract Award Date through September 30, 2017 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance; Small Business Size Standards $7.5 million. The classification code is J039. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
