- AJAMS Performance Specification DRAFT AJAMS Sources Sought Capabilities Spreadsheet The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation; Joint Project Management Office Medical Modeling and Simulation (JPMO MMS) has a requirement for an Advanced Joint Airway Management Simulator (AJAMS) and is supplementing its Market Research to identify interested sources and capabilities of industry for the procurement of the AJAMS. Sources are invited to submit a capabilities statement indicating their ability to develop and provide the products described in the Performance Specification Attachment 1 to this notice. Responders are advised that the US Government will not reimburse any contractor for any information or administrative costs incurred in their response to this Sources Sought Notice. The interested source will assume all costs associated with responding to this Notice. Not responding to this Notice does not preclude participation in any future Request for Proposal (RFP) or other solicitation, if any is issued. There is no formal solicitation available at this time. No award will be made because of this market survey. If a formal solicitation is generated later, a solicitation notice will be published. All information shall be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government requests you provide your expression of interest by submitting a capability statement regarding the requirements. At a minimum, the attached Excel spreadsheet, Attachment 2, must be completed in response to this Notice. Additionally up to ten (10) Microsoft Word pages may also be submitted used to: a) Describe and further delineate your company's capabilities and experience relative to the AJAMS requirements outlined in Appendices B and C of Attachment 1. b) Indicate which capability(ies) currently exists in your current product(s) and which will require modifications to meet AJAMS requirements outlined in Appendices B and C of Attachment 1. c) Size of Business: Provide a statement indicating if your firm is a large or small business under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333318 ‐ Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. Small businesses must comply with FAR 52.219‐14 ‐ Limitation of Subcontracting, regarding contract performance. Please identify how you plan to comply if the acquisition is set aside. If you are a small business only interested in subcontracting opportunities, please identify the areas you are interested in supporting. If a small business, identify if you are disadvantaged, 8(a), Disabled‐Veteran, Veteran, Women‐owned Business, or Hub‐zone, etc. Provide a statement of whether your firm intends to propose as a prime contractor/ team member/subcontractor. The Government may not review any pages beyond the 10‐page limit. The above described capability statements are due to the contacts outlined below, no later than December 9, 2016. Format: Provide an electronic submission in MS Word format using a font with a point size no smaller than 12. The Government is not soliciting proprietary information; however, if submitted, it should be appropriately marked. Length: Do not exceed 10 pages, exclusive of the MS Excel Spreadsheet. Respondents are asked to submit replies no later than 3:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on December 9, 2016 by email to Mr. Jan A. Forman, Contract Specialist, at jan.a.forman.civ@mail.mil, with a Cc: to fabiola.m.ondina‐hollman.civ@mail.mil. In addition to your capability statement, you are invited to submit questions/comments. Please provide your questions electronically in MS Word, point size no smaller than 12, in a separate attachment from your capability statement. Telephone responses and inquiries will not be accepted. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation.
