- Redacted AARGM BOA CJ&A The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) delivery order inclusive of options under NAVAIR BOA N00019-17-G-0011 to Orbital ATK (OA) Defense Electronics System (DES), Northridge, CA, previously known as Alliant Techsystems Operations, LLC (ATK), for the analyses of the evaluation of the performance of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM) Front End (FE) components given a range of free flight and captive carriage environments. This acquisition was pursued on a sole source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Award to any other source would result in unacceptable cost, schedule, and programmatic risks to the AARGM Front End Design Analysis (FEDA). A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This award notice is published for informative purposes. GENERAL INFORMATION: OA is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AARGM missile, and is the only source that currently possesses sufficient requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, aircraft integration information, and technical data required to perform these efforts. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the supplies anticipated needed herein is 336414.
