Page 1 of 6 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, 13 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number VA250-17-Q-0092, in accordance with FAR Parts 12.603 and 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED and a written solicitation will not be issued. Awards resulting from the (RFQ) will be based on Best Value to the Department of Veterans Affairs giving consideration to: Technical, delivery, and Price. This acquisition is Unrestricted, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334510, and has a size standard of 1,250 employees. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89-2-2, effective November 1, 2016. The Government intends to award Firm-Fixed Price. The requirement is for Brand Name or Equal. Delivery location is Cleveland VAMC, 10701 East Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 and shall be FOB destination. BACKGROUND: The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, BioMed and Speech Pathology service is requesting a HD Digital Win & Upgrade. VA is required to upgrade all equipment that uses Windows XP. Windows 7 is going to be mandatory at all VA s. This Scope of Work is for the replacement/upgrade of the existing Windows XP Swallowing Workstation & Stroboscopy System Digital Video Capture Modules (2-Main, 1-Parma) to current VAMC Windows OS compliance and integrative standards. 2. DELIVERY/PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The equipment shall be delivered to the warehouse. The warehouse does have a delivery dock. The equipment shall be delivered and installed within 30 days of the award date.
