- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ is requesting information pertaining to the availability of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) item for the A/M27T-15 DHPS manufactured by Hydraulics International. This Support Equipment is to be used in support of testing and repair of aircraft hydraulic system both ashore and afloat using MIL-PRF-83282 hydraulic fluid generating 32 GPM at 3000 PSI, 22GPM at 5000 PSI, boost pump up to 47 GPM at 40 to 140 PSI, 3 micron filtration, 28 gallon hydraulic fluid reservoir. Powered by a 110 HP diesel engine, fuel tank capacity 22 Gallons, 24 VDC electrical system. Running gear towable at speeds up to 25 MPH over improved roads, ground clearance 8 inches. Physical characteristics: 52" H, 88"L, 51" W, weight 4100 pounds. The unit shall be capable of operation in all types of environments conditions including temperature extremes, humidity, and salt fog without failure or additional maintenance: Temperature -40F to 120F operating ambient, -60F to 160F storage. Electromagnetic Interference: MIL-STD-461 below deck surface ship, Vibration: MIL-STD-167 Type I and II Operation positions: up to 8-1/2 degrees from the horizontal. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this request for information nor will the Government compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information for the Government. Any request for copies of solicitations will not be addressed since this is a request for information, not a request for proposal. The Government will not release any information marked with a proprietary legend received in response to this RFI to any firms, agencies or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. Respondents are notified that a formal solicitation may not necessarily result from the RFI. Availability of any formal solicitation may be announced under a separate Federal Business Opportunities announcement.
