SCOPE OF WORK PART 1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1.1 Remove and Replace existing sewage control panel. PART 2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK 2.1 Remove existing sewage control panel. 2.2 Provide and Install new Stacon, Duplex, Intrinsically safe panel Nema 3R steel enclosure, aluminum inner Panel, complete with starters, circuit breakers, H-O-A switches, run lights, seal leak and Hi temp lights, alternator and high water alarm light and horn. PART 3 LOCATION OF WORK 3.1 Coast Guard Station St. Clair Shores 24802 Jefferson Ave Saint Clair Shores, MI 48080 PART 4 SITE VISIT 4.1 Those who desire access to Station Saint Clair Shores for bidding or work are to contact MKC Brett Secord or MK1 Craig Reed. Once awarded the job, contractors are to arrange time and days for work to be accomplished after receiving notification from the U.S. Coast Guard Contracting Officer to proceed. PART 5 WORK HOURS/COORDINATION 5.1 All communications will go through the POC listed. No work can be modified or changed without their permission. 5.2 Work to be completed should have minimal impact on the unit's operation. In the event any of the utilities need to be secured, these items should be well planned out. 5.3 Normal work hours for the unit is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday, excluding all Federal Holidays. Any work outside these times need to be worked out and approved by the POC ahead of time. Personnel shall not enter any other areas outside the site of work unless required to do so in the performance of their duties and have obtained verbal permission from MKC Brett Secord or the Officer of the Day. 7.3 The contractor's equipment shall be conspicuously marked for identification. 7.4 There shall be no smoking in any Coast Guard building and only in designated areas. PART 8 PROJECT COMPLETION / ACCEPTANCE OF WORK 8.1 The contractor will be financially responsible for any and all damages incurred while working on Government property. 8.2 The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash and debris pertaining to the contract work from the limits of government property, as well as adjacent affected areas. 8.3 Disposal of HAZMAT shall be in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations 8.4 All work completed shall be approved by the POC. The site is to be at a minimum as clean of a condition as it was found in. 8.5 Prior to the acceptance of work by the Coast Guard the contractor shall arrange through MKC Brett Secord a review of work completed to ensure work satisfaction as well as proper clean up. PART 9 LABORER WAGES 9.1 Quote must reflect hourly wages prescribed by the Department of Labor in the attached Wage Determination Document.
