- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity on behalf of the the US Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM), located in Natick, MA is conducting market research to determine availability of companies who can provide high-sensitivity mineral isotope analysis and kinetic modeling services to support USARIEM's protocol:Identification of skeletal hormone and calcium kinetic responses in females initiating exercise training, and future protocols. The requirement is to provide high-sensitivity stable mineral isotope analytical services using a Triton TI magnetic sector thermal ionization mass spectrometer to include the analysis of: 300 blood samples and 450 urine samples for determination of stable calcium isotopes. Provide total calcium concentration analysis using a Perkin Elmer Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUIRED AT THIS TIME AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis. Respondents having proven capability of satisfying the requirements stated herein should provide a narrative identifying business size (large business, small business, and small disadvantaged business, etc.), applicable designators (service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc.), experience performing the same or similar services and General Services Administration/Federal Supply Schedule information, if applicable.
