- Sources Sought Attachment USCG 32-TPSB MNT and Repair SYNOPSIS: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY, not a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quotes (RFQ), and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified sources with the capabilities to provide the services stated herein. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. WOSB, HUBZone, and VOSB and SDVOSB are encouraged to respond to this notice. BACKGROUND: United States Coast Guard, (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center, (SFLC), Small Boat Product Line (SBPL) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research, pursuant to FAR Part 10 Market Research, to identify potential parties capable of providing maintenance and repair for the CG 32-Foot Transport Port Security Boat (32-TPSB) and trailer utilized by the USCG Port Security Units (PSU). The Period of Performance would be a twelve-month base period with four twelve-month option periods. There would be approximately seven to ten boat service orders per twelve-month period. This is expected to be a multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Contract. Attached to this notice is the Specification and Statement of Work regarding this 32-TPSB maintenance requirement in Adobe PDF format. SUBMISSION: Interested, capable vendors (parties) shall submit to the Point of Contact listed in this notice a Capability Statement in response to this Sources Sought Notice, including the following: 1. Contact information: Company Name, Website, Address, Point of Contact Name and Job Title, Phone Number, Fax Numbers, Email Address. 2. Type of business (small, large, etc.) with a brief summary of the company, in no more than three paragraphs. 3. Evidence that the interested party is fully capable of providing maintenance and repair for the CG 32-Foot Transport Port Security Boat (32-TPSB) and trailer utilized by the USCG Port Security Units (PSU) and any additional information that the interested party feels is relevant. Documentation proving the ability to furnish Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Parts and qualified personnel to include Certified Marine Machinery Mechanics who are certified to repair Yanmar Marine Engines and have at least three (3) years experience repairing this brand engine, and Certified Marine Electricians who have at least three (3) years experience as Marine Electricians, as stated in pages 6 -8 of 30 of the attachment. 4. Please address any concerns that you have pertaining to this notice that should be clarified by the Government prior to the issuance of a solicitation. 5. System for Award Management (SAM) registration profile showing Registration Status, Active Exclusion Summary/Record, Activation Date, and Expiration Date. NOTE: All vendors need to be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to contract award. Please go to www.sam.gov for further information regarding registration and renewal of registration, if expiration has expired. The Government will not award a contract to a prospective vendor whose SAM expiration date is prior to the anticipated award date. A SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The Government is not obligated and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. If and when a solicitation is issued it will be posted on https://www.fbo.gov/. It is the respondent's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. Vendors are not required to respond to this notice to be considered for award. No phone calls will be accepted for this notice.
