- General Information Document Type: Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice RFI Number: HSCG38-17-I-200002 Posted Date: 21 November 2016 Response Date: 30 November, 2016 Product Service Code J016 -Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment Description This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Short Range Recovery (SRR) division is conducting Market Research to identify commercially available Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved sources that can provide comprehensive sustainment on the USCG Turbomeca Arriel 2C2CG engines. Sustainment services consist of depot level repair, overhaul and modification services on Arriel 2C2CG engines and modules, logistical support, engineering services, and field maintenance and technical support under the Turbomeca Support-By-The Hour (SBH®) program. Sources must provide evidence with their response of having Turomeca USA approval to perform these services on the USCG Arriel 2C2CG engines and modules. Contractors approved by Turbomeca USA to provide the requisite services should submit a concise response presenting sufficient information to substantiate that (1) they possess the necessary knowledge, skills and experience and resources to provide the SBH® services for the Arriel 2C2CG engines; (2) they possess the necessary software, technical data, facilities, and resources and demonstrated experience to provide equipment testing, repair, modification, overhaul and product improvement of the Arriel 2C2CG engines and; (3) they have the capability of providing new OEM repair parts and supply support material. Responses must include a business point of contact, phone number, email address and Cage Code. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code (NAICS) is 488190. The small business size standard is $32.5M in average annual receipts. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should also state whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern under NAICS 488190. This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute a Request For Proposal and is not to be construed as a request for an offer. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this Notice for contract award purposes. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests.
