Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego (FLCSD), Port Hueneme Detachment intends to award a Sole Source contract to CC Communications in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5 for telecommunication services at Naval Air Station (NAS), Fallon, NV. The proposed contract action is for telecommunication services to include the use of the Base Telephone Systems (BTS), to include engineering, furnishing, installing and testing (EFI and T), maintaining, providing upgrades and enhancements, and making operational all hardware and software necessary to meet the requirements for the (BTS) already provided and in use at the NAS Fallon. Anticipate the award of a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract for a one-year base and two one-year option periods. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with CC Communications, Fallon, NV who owns, operates, maintains and administers the existing BTS (inclusive of the switching equipment, network services (i.e. DSN) and distribution cable plant that provides all voice services and equipment at NAS Fallon and has the required expertise and knowledge necessary to provide these critical services. The applicable NAICS code is 517110. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail to lenette.santana@navy.mil. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by 5 December 2016, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time. Anything submitted by phone or fax will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
