- RFQ N64267-17-T-0007 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5. The Naval Surface warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division intends to award on a sole source basis to Mikel, Inc., 275 Martine Street, Fall River, MA 02723 for the following: • Mikel P/N: SANSB-G4-001 SANS Gen 4 Beacon Assembly - Includes Beacon Electronics Assembly; Glass Pressure Housing (Two hemispheres, Hard hat protective shell, Ti Plug); Ti vacuum port; ITC-3148 Assembly (Transducer, Adapter Housing, Encapsulated for Deep Submergence); Release Block Assembly; Ti vacuum port; ITC-3148 Assembly; Release Block Re-arming Service; Transducer Guard; Beacon Chassis Assembly (frame mounted with relays, tilt switches, etc.); Electrical Housing Penetrator (octopus); Beacon Iridium Relocation Module; Deployment system (Anchor, 30 feet mooring line w/ shackle). • Mikel P/N: SANS-DS-001 Beacon Iridium Recovery Deckset Synopsis/Solicitation N64267-17-T-0007 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. Please see the attached RFQ for detail information on the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, shall be considered by NSWC Corona. Quote is due 1 December 2016 no later than 12:00 pm PST. Questions and responses regarding this synopsis/solicitation must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Kim Chu, via email at kim.t.chu@navy.mil prior to the RFQ closing. Email should reference Synopsis/Solicitation N64267-17-T-0007 in the subject line.
