Description

Sole Source Justification The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a continuing requirement for contractor support for PDFTron PDFNet JS Core SDK Licenses and Maintenance. The USPTO intends to negotiate and award a contract for PDFTron PDFNet JS Core SDK Licenses and Maintenance under NAICS 511210, Software Publishers to PDFTron Systems, Inc. for a period of December 1, 2016 through November 30, 2017. The requirement includes a base plus two (2) option years with an estimated value of $748,818.00. The anticipated award date is December 1, 2016. PDFTron Systems' company policy is to negotiate Terms and Conditions with the requiring agency. The most effective and efficient way to obtain software licenses and maintenance support is directly through the Manufacturer. As a result of USPTO's exemption from the Competition in Contracting Act, the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) and the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
