Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for preventative maintenance and repair service for GE OPTIMA660 CT System located at the Wilmington Healthcare (HCC) facility in NC under the authority of FAR Subpart 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C): The order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the Contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order. The award is to be made to GE Medical Systems INFO Technologies 9900 Innovation Dr. Wauwatosa, WI 53226. Estimated contract award is November 25th, 2016. The proposed contract award will be for 1-year. NACIS: 811219/ SIZE STANDARD: $20.5M Scope of work Services shall be performed in accordance with terms, conditions, in this statement of work and be in compliance with all manufacturer technical specifications and maintain the original equipment warranty. The service agreement covers both planned and corrective maintenance. All management, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to ensure planned and corrective maintenance for the GE Optima 660 Serial number 1029878WK4. All Field Service Engineers (FSE) performing under this contract must be experienced in the service and repair of GE Healthcare devices used in tertiary health care facilities. In addition all FSEs must have original equipment manufacturers (OEM) training on the specific models located in the Fayetteville HCC and must have full and unfettered access to all OEM service publications and diagnostic service software. Clinical Support Specialist providing annual operator training must be OEM trained and accredited. Proof of experience and references must be provided if requested by the Contracting Officer and/or COTR. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; No Solicitation package is available, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses are due by November 25, 2016, 10am (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Audrey.wooten@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
