Description
Solicitation Amendment - 1 The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, intends to acquire by contract services associated with rock quarry material production. Specifically, this project will cover needed sampling and testing, drilling and/or blasting, crushing and screening of rock, stockpiling of aggregate, and other services necessary to perform these functions. The project is located on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt Adams Ranger District, in the State of Washington. The Dry Creek East Quarry can be accessed from the Wind River Highway by travelling east on FR 60, northwest on 6030, stay straight onto 6035, and merge right onto 6035708. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 212319 with a size standard of 500 employees. Procurement will be processed following the procedures outlined in FAR part 12 for the Acquisition of Commercial Items. Offerors will be evaluated on price, past performance, experience, and other factors as identified in the solicitation document. The solicitation for this project will be made available on or about October 28, 2016 with quotes due on or about December 7, 2016. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Offerors may obtain information on the registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at http://www.sam.gov//.
