- The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring solenoid start assembly, for the F100-229 Air Craft Engine. This is a Critical Safety Item. The Line Item cited below is for a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements Contract. This requirement is anticipated to be sole source. 1.Estimated Solicitation Issue Date & Estimated Closing/Response Date: 14 December 2016, Closes 16 January 2017 2.RFP#: FA8121-17-R-0007 3.PR#: FD2030-16-02342, FD2030-17-00213 & FMS FD2030-17-00503 4.Nomenclature/Noun: Solenoid Start Assembly 5.INPUT NSN: PN: 2915-01-224-0779NZ 351001 6.AMC: 3/D 7.Application(Engine or Air Craft): F100-229 Air Craft Engine 8.History: Last awarded FA8121-16-F-0040 awarded 16 May 2016. 9.Description: F100-229 Solenoid Start Assembly, is 6.3"L x 10.5"W x 6.3"H and weighs 2.5lbs. L/I 0001- Solenoid Start Assembly Quantity: 85 Ea. 10.Destination: SW3211 11.Delivery Number 1: 10 each starting 30 September 2017 and continue at that rate every 30 days until complete. 12.Current Approved Sources: Honeywell International Inc. Cage Code: 06848 13.Export Control: No 14.Qualification Requirements: Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than current source(s). 15.Mandatory Language: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
