Description
This is a Sources Sought notice. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. This Sources Sought is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of qualified small business concerns prior to issuing a solicitation. The Government may use the responses to this sources sought notice for information and planning purposes. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. All responses shall be provided by an e-mail response to mimi.hetzel@ihs.gov. No presentations will be allowed or scheduled. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.2, the Indian Health Service is conducting market research and is issuing this Sources Sought notice. The upcoming project will be to construct a community well to replace an existing community well on the Makah Water System at the Makah Indian Reservation in Neah Bay, Clallam County, WA 98357. Under this construction project, the Contractor will construct a new water well, conduct pump test and water sampling, install pitless adapter, well pump and connect to existing water supply and electrical power. New well will be located near an existing well. The new well will be fully developed and tested in compliance with the SDWA requirements for a new source. The new well will be connected to the existing supply line and power previously serving the existing well. The existing well will be converted into a monitoring well. The scope of work for the well will include the following but are not limited to: 1. Mobilization and Demobilization 2. Well Drilling, 12-inch 3. Well Casing, 8-inch 4. Stainless Steel Screen, 8-inch 5. Gravel Pack 6. Mechanical Well Development 7. Sanitary Grout 8. Authorized Rig Work 9. Authorized Stand-by/Shop time 10. Test Pumping 11. Water Analysis 12. Submersible Well Pump and Accessories 13. Connect Well to Existing Water Supply and Power Supply Lines 14. Convert existing Well ALG-753 to a Monitoring Well Per FAR 36.204, the estimated price range of the resultant construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 million in average annual receipts for the past three years.
