- Sources Sought-Attachment A Project Description The General Services Administration, Public Building Service, Region 7, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to complete the removal of existing HVAC split systems (see requirements below). Work is to be performed at the Gateway LPOE Kennels and the USDA Building at the Los Indios LPOE. The Contractor will have 90 days to complete the work after the equipment arrives on site. TX0334LI - USDA BLDG Los Indios LPOE (100 Los Indios Blvd. Los Indios, TX) 1. Remove existing HVAC split systems four (4) ea. and dispose of properly. Demolition to include, but not limited to: cabinet, flexible duct connectors, plumbing lines connections, and all related electrical accessories. a. One (1) ea. 3.5 Ton AC condenser with natural gas furnace b. One (1) ea. 4 Ton AC condenser with natural gas furnace c. One (1) ea. 6 Ton AC condenser with natural gas furnace d. Two (2) ea. 6 Ton AC condensers with One (1) ea. 12 Ton Air Handler with 45 KW Elect. heat 2. Furnish and install the following: a. 1 EA 12 TON 3400 CFM Air Handler with 45 KW and Two (2) 6 Ton condensers equal to or better than AHU Trane Model #TWE150E & Condenser Trane Model # TTA150H b. 1 EA 6 TON Split HVAC System with natural gas heat furnace equal to or better than Trane Model #TTA073H c. 1 EA 3.5 TON Split HVAC System with natural gas heat equal furnace to or better than Trane Model #TTR5042E d. 1 EA 4 TON Split HVAC System with natural gas heat furnace equal to or better than Trane Model #TTR5048E TX0695BN - Gateway LPOE Kennels BLDG (1500 East Elizabeth St. Brownsville, TX) 1. Remove existing two (2) HVAC Split Systems and dispose of properly. Demolition to include, but not limited to: cabinet, flexible duct connectors, plumbing lines connections, and all related electrical accessories. a. One (1) ea. 10 Ton Split System Air Handler and Condenser model# Carrier 38AKS-012---501-- and 40RM-012-B610HC 10 ton split system 4,000 cfm b. One (1) ea. 7.5 Ton Split System Air Handler and Condenser model# Carrier 38AK-008---511-- and 40RM-008-B610HC 7.5 ton split system 3,000 cfm 2. Furnish and install new HVAC Split System of same cooling and heating capacities as the existing units being replaced and to be equal to or better than the following existing Trane models: a. 1 EA 10 TON Air Handler with electric heat equal or better than trane Model# TWE120E with matching condenser Trane model# TTA120H E b. 1 EA 7.5 TON Air Handler with electric heat equal or better than trane Model# TWE090E with matching condenser Trane model# TTA090H The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to be assigned to this procurement is 238220; the associated small business size standard is 15 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred associated to this request for capability information. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: (1) A complete and current record of your registration within the System for Award Management, located at https://www.sam.gov/. The record shall include your DUNS number, organization name, address, contact name, email address, web site address, telephone number, type of organization, and small business type(s). (2) A capability statement supporting claims of organizational and staff capability to perform the tasks listed in the "Project Description" paragraph above. (3) In order to demonstrate successful experience as a General Construction (GC) Contractor and/or as Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning contractor, please provide at least two but no more than five similar HVAC removal and installation projects substantially completed within the past five years from the issuance of this Sources Sought utilizing Attachment A. The total project construction cost at award of the similar projects must not be less than $75,000.00. GSA requests that potential sources only submit the minimum information necessary. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, including type of small business set-aside. NO LARGE businesses need to respond to this notice. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. However, GSA may contact sources to gather additional information as required. Submission Instructions: Interested parties, excluding large businesses, who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 2:00 PM (CDT), Friday, December 2, 2016.
