- This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. This contract will be awarded to Macaulay-Brown, Inc., 14021 Executive Dr, Dayton, OH, 45430-1062 to provide uninterrupted, high-quality continuity of operations in Executive Program Management Support to Engineering and Test. This effort is currently being performed on contracts HQ0147-11-D-0002-0003 and HQ0147-11-D-0002-0004 which expire on February 12, 2017. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541330 with a size standard of $38.5M. The resultant contract for these advisory and assistance services will be for a base period of three months with one three-month option period. This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in a "bridge" contract which is necessary to allow for continuity of critical contractor services until a competitive contract is awarded under the Technical Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) acquisition strategy. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition in a future competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses must be received no later than December 12, 2016, 2:00 pm, central time and should be submitted to Mr. Bradley Price, Contracting Officer, via email Bradley.price@mda.mil.
