The NGMP Radio shall satisfy the Performance Capabilities outlined in RFP Attachment 1, Government's NGMP Radio Performance Specification (PS) and shall be production ready with National Security Agency (NSA) and Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certifications with a desired date that is no later than 18 months after contract award date. The NGMP Radio will replace legacy manpack radios such as the AN/PRC-117F and AN/PRC-117G. This request for proposal (RFP) is a full and open competition with the intent to award a six year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, issuing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery orders. Industry will have approximately 60 days to submit a proposal. Offerors shall prepare their proposal in accordance with (IAW) mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. All contractors interested in proposing on this RFP must submit their proposal via instructions included in Section L of the RFP and block 9 of the Standard Form 33, no later than 12:00 PM EST, 31 January 2017. Questions concerning this RFP shall be submitted using RFP Attachment 07, Q&A Template. Offerors may submit questions to the Contracting Officer at any time; however, questions received after 12:00 PM EST, 12 December 2017, may not be answered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. All Contractors must be registered in the Government's System for Award Management, www.sam.gov
