THIS SYNOPSIS IS A PRE AWARD NOTIFICATION OF THE GOVERNMENTS INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. General Information Document Type: Pre-Award Synopsis Program: F16-B1 Solicitation Number: FA811716R0008 Posted Date: 1 Dec 2016 Anticipated Contract Award: 16 Jan 2017 Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, AFSC/PZABA, Tinker AFB, 3001 Staff Drive, Tinker AFB, OK 73145, UNITED STATES Description The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry of the Air Forces' intent to award a Sole Source contract directed towards DNE Technologies with a Cage Code of 96238 pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c )(1) and 10 USC2304(d)(1)(i)(ii), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). DNE Technologies has unique repair capabilities, engineering skills, manufacturing knowledges, and test data to repair the items. The contractor is not willing to sell the data rights for future acquisitions are not available to be released to other contractors, No Repair Data List (RDL) exists because no data exists within Government repositories that can be used to repair these items. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Codes are as follows:  336413 Aircraft Manufacturing with a size standard of 1250 CONTRACT TYPE, PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING The current acquisition strategy is to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract with a Basic Year and Four Options under FAR 15. The contemplated period of performance is Dec 2016 thru Dec 2021. The anticipated CLIN schedule for the basic and option years will account for repair, no fault found (NFF), Over and Above and Data.
