Description

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis. The FAA intends to enter into a single source contract with Universal Aviation to develop and maintain two databases for the LR60 & CL-601. These subscriptions are unique by the FMS OEM to be loaded on the UA FMS system. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm does not agree with this single source determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate accordingly. All responses to this announcement must be sent to nia.glover@faa.gov, via email by 5:00 p.m., December 30, 2016. No telephone calls will be accepted.
