- RFQ The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Information Technology Acquisition Center (ITAC) intends to award a single purchase order for a yearly subscription services to the National Fire Protection Administration (NFPA). The subscription provides DHS with integrated access to research information, codes and standards. The anticipated amount is $34,500.00. The period of performance will be one year. According to market research conducted, NFPA is the sole provider of the NFPA codes and standards. NFPA is a United States trade association that creates and maintains private, copyrighted standards, and codes for usage and adoption by local governments. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent to award the subscription to NFPA is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 12:00 PM ET on Dec 19, 2016. Responses shall be submitted to maria.tran@hq.dhs.gov. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: 1. The name of your company; 2. Company DUNS No.; 3. PoC name and contact information; 4. The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing a renewal for the specific items mentioned above; and, 5. A description of that product(s)/service and its overall capabilities It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your product(s) is capable of providing the same functionality that exists with NFPA mentioned above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a product cable of meeting the Government's needs. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
